I see this issue with my mates a lot. They get the relative game sense for around their level and don't quite have the mechanics. An issue that arises is that the game sense or tactical sense is moulded around the players capabilities. As the mechanics grow, the game sense needs to adjust again to accommodate being able to do more even if it is simply moving faster around the pitch.
