  1. Great vid all these tips are super helpful. One thing I’d add is that if you are serious about improving and play on console, invest in a pc. I recently got a pc and it has made my life so much easier after pouring over 2k hours in on a mf Nintendo switch.

  2. I play a lot of 3’s. I can always spot a 1’s player in the lobby. They take way too much time, get dunked constantly and don’t pass. Never been a fan of 1’s. Gives you bad habits for every other mode.

  3. the solution for casual games before ranked is not not to play casual at all but play the casual match as if u would play ranked and get warmed and prepared. and for mechanic stuff same as for all other skillsets: breakdown the complex skillset into smallerparts and practise the parts isolated (checkpoint plugin, trainingpack, workshopmaps). that works for any skillset in life bcos thats the way how the brain learns

  4. Okay what team of people does your motion graphics???

There's no way one person pumps out that much work… right? Like it doesn't look like templates are being used, so many scenes are motion tracked and rotod, it's not just 'graphics for the sake of graphics', and it's clean, consistent and paced well.

  5. So, I'm a Boomer Rocket League player on Xbox..hovering around Plat 3…I've tried to use freeplay to improve my mechanics, but my dedicated air roll buttons are RB and LB, respectively. In freeplay, RB auto resets the play and LB shoots the ball…I've found no way to turn that off, so besides rebinding my controller and relearning everything, how else can I practice, outside of casual games? And yes, I have a regular air roll button bound with powerslide that works, but it's the dedicated air roll I'd like to work on more. Any info is greatly appreciated, gents.

  6. hmm idk about some of these. for sensitivity one, you want to use pro settings. you get used to it. id rather get used to sensitivity once then have to do it once, get good enough that I need new, higher sensitivity, then have to reajust. its the same with controls. as an SSL and someone whos been thru it all, I totally disagree

  7. Watching high level 1v1 is pretty useful, especially when a player gets outplayed rather than it being a pure mechanical play. Example would be a more grounded 1v1 player that focuses on bounce dribbles, and hook shots.

  8. i jumped in discord to check it out… i love his videos, have learned alot… did not feel welcomed on discord as a gold… was told by trainers there that i dont need training, i need to just play the game more… but its ok, i get smashed with emails spamming his services, so maybe one day ill get better and still have 1b emails to find my way back

  9. I camp the net on kickoff in 2’s until the kickoff occurs and then decide whether to defend, attack or grab big boost. I swear it’s better than cheating up in 2’s. Cheating is just rolling the dice that the kickoff (very unpredictable event) goes your way

  10. I found it really hard to just sit and play around in free play when starting out. felt way too boring. wasn’t until recently when I started to actually enjoy using it. maybe it was because I was younger? or maybe having things I actually want to practice getting better at now.

  11. I think copying a pros settings is still a great tip. Default settings are so garbage that most people would have no clue where to even begin fixing the settings. Copying a pros settings gives you a base from which to start tweaking to preference.
